Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties involved in the care and keeping of animals. FLSA status: Non-exempt. Tasks Impound, process and maintain all animals received into the Citys custody; feed, water, vaccinate, dip, bathe and perform diagnostic tests; clean and disinfect kennels, cages, equipment and trucks; maintain an aggressive parasite and disease prevention program; prepare inventory reports for pet food and shelter supplies, enter work orders; stock feed bins and other shelter supplies; maintain and submit required documents for handling controlled substances.
