We are seeking an. Animal Care Technician Ito join our Insourcing Solutionsteam, locatedin Groton, CT. As the Animal Care Technician I, you will use existing SOPs and quality assurance standards to perform daily animal health observations, as well as animal husbandry and cagewash duties, to maintain quality and health of research animals. Additional responsibilities include:Supply food and water for research animals. Maintain accurate records of things like animal housing, animal health and necessary supplies. Assist with restraint, handling, and manipulation of animal species. May become involved in the breeding and weaning procedures. Support cagewash equipment operations and maintenance, monitoring personnel entry into various rooms, and general vivarium housekeeping, when required.
