Anesthesia Technician - White Plains Hospital : Job Details

The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for the supply and processing needs of the Anesthesia Department and assists in the preparation of the Operating Rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for surgical procedures. This person works collaboratively with the Biomedical Engineering and Respiratory Therapy Departments and is an integral member of the Operating Room team with a commitment to efficiency and to providing safe, high quality care to the surgical patients. He or she performs other responsibilities as requested by the Nurse Manager, RN designee, or Director of Anesthesia or his designee. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following: Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors. Orders supplies for Anesthesia Department (storeroom items, direct purchases, pharmaceuticals). Restocks all O - Rs and L D rooms with anesthesia equipment and supplies.
