ANESTHESIA AIDE - Excela Health : Job Details

Overall Objectives The Anesthesia Aide supports the Anesthesiology Department by maintaining equipment and supplies, maintaining a safe and clean environment and assisting with patient care as directed. Essential Job Functions Delivers direct and indirect patient care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols and standards of care. Performs and/or assists with patient care needs as directed. Obtain anesthesia equipment when necessary. Transports patients as needed. Maintains a collaborative relationship with other health care providers to achieve desired outcomes and assure optimal anesthesia care Communicates pertinent information of actual/potential problems to the professional nurse or CRNA. Participate in the unit performance improvement activities designed to enhance the quality of patient care and customer services. Maintains all equipment logs Participates in turning over rooms to assure minimal downtime between cases Oversee that sufficient and proper supplies...Anesthesia, Patient Care, AI, Equipment, Healthcare
