• We are seeking an Analytics & Automation Financial Analyst who will build a modern technology-based finance organization leveraging the latest technologies in AI, ML, Analytics and Reporting to guide our platform technology company. This role will focus on creating a vision for what a technology first finance organization will look like, automating financial processes, developing analytical tools, providing analysis using advanced analytics tools to make business decisions and building scalable solutions for our FP&A and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in Python, SQL, Analytics & ML, Financial systems (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning), Automation tools (RPA platforms, workflow automation), Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure basics) combined with business/accounting knowledge, enabling them to translate financial requirements into technical solutions.

Core Technical Requirements

• Expert in SQL for complex queries, database design, and ETL pipelines
• Python programming with focus on pandas, numpy, and ML libraries
• Proficiency in ML/Analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Experience with financial systems (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning)
• Knowledge of automation tools and RPA platforms
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

• Develop and maintain Python scripts and SQL queries for financial automation
• Build and implement ML models for financial forecasting and analysis
• Create data pipelines between financial systems
• Automate reporting and analysis processes
• Lead development of scalable FP&A solutions
• Provide advanced analytics support for business decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Master's in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
• 3-5 years combining technical and financial responsibilities
• Strong programming background with focus on financial applications
• Understanding of accounting principles and FP&A processes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business concepts
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
