POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible for processing of company payroll and time and attendance. Analyze calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions. LOCATION: The position is based on-site at DrinkPAK's facility in Fort Worth, Texas. BENEFITS: The well-being of our team members and their families is critically important to us. As part of this commitment, we offer: • PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees AND their dependents, 100% paid by the Company • A cell phone stipend • Annual discretionary bonus • 401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and more RESPONSIBILITIES • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200-400 employees in Texas • Review timecards daily for missing punches, missing supervisor notes, tardies, missed shifts, etc. to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing every two weeks • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting • Prepare and analyze payroll reports, presenting findings to Payroll Manager • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries professionally and efficiently • Maintain payroll records and prepare reports on payroll activities for management review • Initiate Off-Cycle payments, as needed • Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and financial reporting • Monitor changes and remain current on legal, regulatory, or governmental requirements (wage & hour, garnishments, 401(k), etc.) • Ensure employees and supervisors approve timecards by the deadline each pay period to ensure timely payroll processing • Ensure accurate data entry in payroll system • Process and monitor garnishment orders • Perform ad hoc assignments and special projects as assigned Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing or accounting roles • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Workday Payroll, Time Tracking & Absence required • Fundamental Payroll Professional (FPP) designation is preferred, but not required • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred • Must be comfortable working in an open workspace / bullpen • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and strong ability to multi-task • Knowledge of IRS and various state regulations regarding payroll and accounting reconciliations/auditing techniques preferred • Ability to meet deadlines & maintains a right the first-time mentality • Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software applications • Continuous improvement mindset OUR VALUES Our company's culture is guided by our shared values of Speed, Intensity, and Purpose.
