DutiesPerform credit analysis for structured credit transactions backed primarily by corporate assets, bank debt, or other debt types. Monitor ratings of existing transactions, assign new ratings in refinancing transactions, or provide recommendations or feedback within context of other services, including rating agency confirmation or pre-implementation feedback. Model cash flow collateralized loan obligations and analyze transaction documents for the purpose of monitoring credit risk and ratings. Prepare rating committee memos and present rating recommendations to rating committees. Communicate with clients, including arrangers, issuers, investors, and outside legal experts. Write publishable research, including transaction-related reports and articles on credit issues affecting the industry. Participate in on-site operations reviews of issuers. Work on projects and pursue thought leadership initiatives that enhance rating analysis and processes.
RequirementsMust have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field. Must have academic training or experience in each of the following: performing financial and statistical modeling; working with analytical models and using Excel for modeling and cash flow analysis; working with programming and analytical tools, including VBA, Python, and SQL.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $107,765 to $194,850/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
