Analog Power Design Engineer Onsite location: McLeansville NC 27301 Required: Top Secret Clearance No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry) W2 Hourly Contract with limited benefits $45.00 - $54.25 per hour DOE Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule) ***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099- TOP SECRECT CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED*** Seeking a Analog Power Design Engineer in McLeansville NC for Undersea Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems. Qualifications Required: * Active Top Secret Clearance * Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.* High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters.* High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technology* Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design* Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories* Circuit Design expertise* Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)* Feedback / Control systems experience* Power System architecture and grounding* Isolated Switching Converters* Transmission Line Effects in power systems* EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc)* Magnetics Design and High Speed Design experience are desirable* Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components* The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting* Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components* Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics* Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design* Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects* Ability to travel as needed* Agile experience preferred.We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: * High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design.
