Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design Engineer Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United StatesDepartment: HardwareSummary Posted: Feb 13, 2025Role Number: 200591409In this role, you will actively work within the Analog & /Mixed-Signal (AMS) team to design and deliver hard IPs for Apple's products. We are seeking a forward-thinking analog/mixed-signal engineer with experience in SERDES, high-speed data converters, PLLs, memory interface circuits, clocking circuits, and other analog/mixed-signal circuits. If you're passionate about learning and improving your work, this role offers a dynamic environment where you can drive your career forward.Responsibilities Lead development of analog & mixed-signal circuits including SERDES, high-speed data converters, PLLs, etc.Collaborate with multi-functional teams to architect and design innovative analog/mixed-signal circuits.Drive mask design and oversee layout implementation.Coordinate with IP consumers, define production/bench test plans, and conduct design reviews to ensure specifications are met.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Preferred Qualifications Deep knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts such as mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power, and low-noise techniques.Experience with high-speed digital circuits like serializers, deserializers, counters, dividers, etc.Design experience in advanced CMOS technologies such as FinFET.Hands-on experience with AMS IC development from definition to high-volume production, including layout supervision and testing.Proficiency in lab testing of mixed-signal circuits using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.Ability to build VerilogA/AMS behavioral models and analyze characterization data.Strong results-driven approach, ability to manage complexity.Excellent communication skills and ability to solve cross-functional problems.Expertise in designing analog/mixed-signal blocks like ADCs, DACs, PLLs, filters, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, etc.Apple is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
