Analog Engineer - Albin Engineering Services : Job Details

Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is looking for an Analog Engineer for one of our premier clients in the Sunnyvale, CA area. This is a direct hire position that will be working remotely. Candidates must be local to the Bay Area. As their employee, you qualify for their full benefit package. Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for board bring-up

• BS in Engineering or similar fields
• 10+ years of experience
• Highly experienced in board bring-ups
• Competency in circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting of analog circuits (op-amps, MOSFETs, ADCs and DACs)
• Proficient at hardware verification
• Excellent understanding of power budget characterizations and measurements for portable and wearable systems from milliamps to microamps
• Advanced knowledge level on high-speed clocking and transceivers
• Ability to travel to customer sites within the Bay Area as needed.

• Can leading projects through development
• Prior experience designing biosignal data acquisition hardware
• Prior experience designing IEC 60601-1 compliant hardware
• Excellent understanding of wireless transceivers and implementations thereof
• Knowledge of RF circuits and measurement techniques
• Proficient at link budget calculations for RF
• Prior experience with EMC testing
