The Equities Trading business provides a wide range of innovative equities solutions to institutional investors - from initial public offerings, secondary placements and equity-linked structures to private placements, equity derivatives products, and block and portfolio trading servicesAs a Vice President in Business Management for Americas Cash Equities, you will be providing support to the Cash Equities Trading Group from an end-to-end perspective. You will gain significant exposure to the Front Office and extensive interaction with senior management as well as across functional areas.Job responsibilities Acting as trusted advisor and counterweight to Business Heads and their management team Implementation of new business strategies, strategic initiatives or platform, including aligning front office and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance) Managing business risk and support control environment Leading roll out of regulatory rules and compliance policies Analyzing of financial performance including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation Supporting of Americas Cash Equities, as well as broader Americas Equities Trading with planning, forecasting, quarterly business reviews Partnering with cross regional Business Managers and cross LOB Business managers to ensure consistency and best practicesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area Previous product knowledge and/or prior Business Management or COO experience Understanding of front-to-back best practices for Equities or other asset class Knowledge in information technology within financial institutions and experience in planning and building efficient systems Knowledge and experience with Equities or other market infrastructure and network management Understanding of legal and compliance requirements for financial institutions Excellent written and oral communication skills Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely Excellent project management and organizational skills Attention to detail with logical thought processPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Preferred experience in a related Markets business function.
