Ambulance Operations Director

Salary: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational leadership and direction to the ambulance services team, ensuring efficient operation and service excellence.
- Oversee all aspects of personnel management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures that fulfill legal requirements and promote operational efficiency.
- Drive the strategic planning and execution for service growth, operational agility, and financial sustainability.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards across all areas of responsibility to maintain high-quality patient care.
- Prepare detailed administrative reports on operations, training programs, and approach strategies for continuous improvement.
- Manage budget planning and financial forecast to achieve business goals while maximizing resource utilization and profitability.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare facilities and first responder organizations to enhance the effectiveness and scope of emergency services.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and practices to ensure the readiness of the operations under fluctuating conditions.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management Services, Business Management, Public/Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience managing a medium to large high-performance EMS system with an annual response volume exceeding 30,000.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, organizational development, personnel management, and resource development.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of achieving results through team development and engagement.
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical systems, legal guidelines, and best practices in emergency services operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in public affairs and community engagement within the healthcare sector.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Certification as a paramedic or related advanced emergency medical certification.
- Experience in adapting to the rapidly changing healthcare environment and implementing innovative solutions to meet healthcare challenges.
