Job Title: Heavy Equipment Assembler Location: Littleton, NH Shift: AM 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday Reports to: Foreman Job Overview: TheHeavy Equipment Assembleris responsible forassembling and installing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsaccording toblueprints and engineering specifications. This role requires strongmechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work efficientlyin a fast-paced manufacturingenvironment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for the mechanical assembly of heavy equipment parts, including hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical installation processes that require the use of shop tools and equipment.
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, equipment drawings, and schematics.
- Set up each unit correctly to meet production and quality standards.
- Operate machinery, tools, and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
- Ensure production targets are met or exceeded as directed by the supervisor, to include overtime when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area.
- Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Participate in cross-training to support production flexibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Production Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work with shop tools to include electric & air impact guns, torque wrenches, standard wrenches, levels, hydraulic pressure gauges & feeler gauges, dial indicators, overhead cranes (slings and shackles), and other standard industrial tools as needed.
- Proven ability to perform high-quality work in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, equipment drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions.
- Basic electrical knowledge (12v and 24v systems)
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A technical degree in a related field or comparable assembly experience deemed valid by the employer.
- Experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Prior experience in heavy equipment assembly or a similar industrial role.
