Job Purpose

Responsible for identifying and reporting internal Key Performance Indicators (KPI) top delivery issues on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Leading and promoting countermeasure activities related to delivery metrics to ensure a harmonious production flow. Support development and implementation of annual delivery business planning activities. Lead and develop production groups to satisfy training and development needs.

Key Accountabilities
  • Report daily delivery results to plant and department management and address gaps.
  • Summarize weekly delivery results and set directions for next steps, presenting to department leadership.
  • Summarize monthly delivery results and set directions for next steps, presenting to department leadership.
  • Monitor daily delivery conditions via reports to manage department and coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to minimize impact.
  • Continuously improve production efficiency and delivery characteristics (Cycle Time, Process Load Times, Equipment Downtime).
  • Create and lead activities for delivery business planning, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Plan and monitor weekend and shutdown activities, assessing risks related to equipment installation and projects to prevent impact.
  • Develop team skills through training and mentoring for management growth.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Conflict resolution and empowerment skills.
  • Experience in crisis management and problem analysis within production areas.
  • Knowledge of Honda/Japanese culture and terminology.
  • Business planning knowledge.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems and nonconforming procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in developing and reporting delivery metrics.
  • Understanding regional delivery initiatives and impacts.
  • Leadership skills in managing team dynamics within production.
  • Ability to develop team capabilities effectively.
Working Conditions
  • Balance between desk work and on-floor presence.
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs.
  • 0-15% travel for training and offsite support.
  • Overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.
  • Support production line work and online tasks.
  • Flex hours to support shifts as needed.
