Job Description :
Alterations/Costume Shop Manager Position - Winter Opera Saint LouisConstruct, alter, repair, or modify garments for customers based on their specifications, needs, and preferences. Communicate with customers about price estimates and time needed to finish garments. Accurately measure clients and schedule fittings as needed. Notify the General Director if equipment needs maintenance or repairs. Keep the alterations shop clean and organized. Coordinate with the Administrative Director to update alterations or costume inventory pages on the website. Create and maintain a project calendar with estimated work times and project completion dates. Track and label all customer garments using the alterations form. Assist customers with costume rental, pricing, and rental expectations. Collaborate with the Costume Designer to complete costumes needed for performances. Manage time effectively and coordinate with the Costume Designer regarding performance deadlines. Launder and/or dry clean garments as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
