- Develop and lead new business development strategy to deliver business growth of $10 million or 5% YOY by overseeing the formation and execution of business opportunities.
- Ensure proper departmental structure and resources are in place to support continuous operation and growth plan.
- Ensure the health of the new business development strategy and initiatives to ensure an appropriate balance between innovative technology and products that will readily fill existing capacity.
- Responsible for ensuring efficiency and accuracy on all quoting activities, including optimization of existing systems and assets.
- Travel and engage with potential key clients and trade shows as needed to foster a pro-active approach to form new business relationships. Ensure exceptional customer relationship management.
- Develop and present Capital execution plan centered around Safety, Growth, and Productivity improvement project to Senior Leadership on a monthly basis.
- Work collaboratively with key cross-functional team members including, operations and sales/delivery, to improve forecasting accuracy, project integrity, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction on both capital and continuous improvement projects.
- Participate by way of support with the implementation of all necessary business operating systems, including a system to manage internal and external requests for information (RFI), and track such requests through to customer purchase order initiation, to ensure timely closing of all sales leads.
- Continue professional development to represent and personify the desired organizational and leadership culture.
- Provide effective leadership of all direct reports as evidenced by the development and communication of SMART goals for your team that is aligned with the overall Company vision and strategies.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the fields of Plastic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or significant equivalent experience.
- 10 years of progressive experience in Engineering Management, Technical service field is required.
- Technically knowledgeable of the Plastics industry a must.
- Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions.
- Must have experience of working in a corporate/business focused environment.
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills, proven record of successful capital planning execution and continuous improvement mindset.
- Self-motivated leader with proven achievement and management capabilities, with the ability to instill accountability in innovative ways.
- Must have the sense of urgency, and 24/7 attitude is paramount!
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting at workstation approximately 65 percent of work time. Standing and walking approximately 35 percent of work time.
- Must be able to travel 60 percent of work time.
- Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice.
