Title: Alfresco System Engineer

  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance for Alfresco Governance Services (AGS), Alfresco Process Service (Client), and Alfresco Content System (Client) within Windows and Linux ecosystems.
  • Provide Alfresco expertise and best practices for implementing Alfresco as an enterprise digital asset and content management system.
  • Conduct system administration duties, including setup, ongoing configuration, installation, patching, customization, and ensuring DoD security STIG compliance.
  • Own tasks related to integrating Alfresco with external enterprise task management tools.
  • Experience with integrating Alfresco with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) via SAML authentication.
  • Manage and maintain Alfresco workflows, data separation rules, and permission structures.
  • Prepare 'as-is' and 'to-be' network and process diagrams.
  • Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with vendors for system enhancements.
  • Implement Alfresco Governance Records Management solutions to ensure regulatory compliance and automate records lifecycle processes.
  • Administer Alfresco PNP modules, optimizing performance and customizing configurations to meet business needs.
  • Proficient in Java programming and API utilization to develop reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Manage Alfresco integration with enterprise systems such as SailPoint, Azure, and Workday for user provisioning and authentication.
  • Implement security policies to protect sensitive information and prevent data breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with document management, retention, and organizational policies.
  • Provide end-user training and support for effective utilization of Alfresco.
  • Collaborate with teams for change management, validations, and performance testing.
  • Prepare visual representations for strategic communication.
  • Perform daily system sustainment and develop automation scripts to improve productivity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical issues and provide desk-side support.
    • Requirements and Skills:
  • Over 5 years of Java development experience.
  • Proficiency in understanding and developing RESTful JSON-based APIs.
  • Knowledge of Alfresco technologies including Content Services, Governance Services/Records Management, and Content Accelerator for Policy and Procedure Management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Quick learner with adaptability to new technologies.
