AIRPORT SERVICE WORKER I/ II - Department of Aviation, California Redwood Coast Humboldt County Airport. As a Department of Aviation employee, you will work in an environment with other motivated individuals who are passionate about their work. What You'll Do:Maintain the airfield and report/correct problems to ensure safe operation of the airport. Assist aircraft operators and work with and respond to tenants, contractors, and various public and private agencies. Accept fuel deliveries and monitors fuel quality and inventory. Conduct routine safety and security checks of airport grounds, facilities, and buildings. Operate and maintain a variety of vehicles and equipment including trucks, power and hand tools.
