Airport Security Officer II - City of Redmond Oregon : Job Details

OF POSITION:This position performs substantial and diverse pre-assigned and as-assigned job duties. This position provides customer service and armed security for the Redmond Municipal Airport as a uniformed security officer. Incumbent will report to the Airport Security Officer Supervisor and the Airport Security Manager and will conduct a large number of inspections and audits to maintain Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) compliance. Under general supervision, employee is expected to exercise broad discretion and independent judgment within established guidelines. Work includes reviewing with sufficient frequency, assigned security-related functions to ensure that all are effective and in compliance with the Airport Security Program and applicable Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security directives and DPSST minimum standards.
