Airport Ramp Services Agent - Unifi Aviation, LLC : Job Details

Join our dynamic team as an Airport Ramp Services Agent!

As a critical part of our aviation operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of customer aircraft. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Loading, unloading, servicing, and directing customer aircraft with great attention to safety.
• Protecting our customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from theft, loss, and damage.
• Lifting and transporting passenger baggage, including airmail and freight, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Operating pushback equipment and maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safe operations.
• Receiving and accurately recording customer baggage, airfreight, and company materials.
• Transporting cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, preparing detailed records as needed.
• Driving and operating motorized equipment such as belt loaders, tugs, and deicers, as well as manually handling carts and containers.
• Completing required paperwork and data entries related to your duties.
• Performing various other related tasks as assigned within your skillset.

Qualifications:

• Local (in-state) resident preferred.
• Valid In-State Driver's License required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is necessary.
• Completion of ramp and SIDA training will be required.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move items weighing 70 pounds or more and to repeatedly lift 40 to 50 pounds.
• Capable of walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and working in cramped or elevated spaces.
• High School diploma or GED required; preference for candidates with one or more years of relevant experience.
