AIRPORT MAINTENANCE WORKER - County of Fulton Georgia : Job Details

The purpose of this classification is to perform defined duties related to airfield maintenance at the Fulton County Airport, including maintaining the airfield grounds and providing preventative maintenance services within the airport. Airfield Maintenance Worker is distinguished from Airfield Maintenance Supervisor in that the former does not supervise assigned staff but performs routine airfield maintenance duties, whereas the latter supervises assigned staff and oversees daily maintenance operations activities. Essential Functions:The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned. Utilizes hand and power tools to maintain airfield runways, taxiway entrances, light lanes, and parking lots. Repairs and maintains equipment.
