This role blends technical expertise with precision craftsmanship in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. If you're highly detail-oriented and passionate about aviation, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:Perform structural maintenance and repairs on transport-category aircraft in compliance with FAA regulationsUse blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematics to diagnose and complete structural repairs and modificationsFabricate, install, and replace sheet metal components using specialized tools and precise measuring equipmentMaintain accurate documentation of all repairs and inspectionsCollaborate with FAA representatives, pilots, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure high-quality outcomesSupport compliance with both Part 145 and Part 135 repair and operational standardsAdhere to safety protocols while keeping the work area clean and organizedWork flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPerform additional tasks as directed by supervisorsQualifications:Valid FAA Airframe License required; Powerplant License strongly preferred1–2 years of recent experience in aircraft structural maintenance (turbine-powered aircraft preferred)Experience working in a Part 145 repair station and Part 135 operational environment (required)Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plusStrong ability to interpret maintenance documents and technical manualsCapable of working independently on structural, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsExcellent attention to detail, communication skills, and safety awarenessAbout STS Technical Services:STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with the biggest names in the aviation, defense, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.We connect skilled aviation professionals with rewarding career opportunities across the United States.
