Aircraft Records Clerk V

Are you looking for an advanced, aircraft records position where you can use your skills in a collaborative and rewarding environment? Join our team! As an Aircraft Records Clerk V, you will catalogue and maintain our technical documentation. You'll be responsible for tracking and managing aircraft maintenance documentation for large, highly complex and or multiple programs including log-pages, inventory records, technical documentation, and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry into maintenance database tracking system
  • Review of maintenance sign offs for accuracy and completeness
  • Use of aircraft maintenance or structural repair manuals
  • Assist in maintenance planning for heavy checks and green aircraft

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft word processing programs
  • Advanced experience with computer systems and aircraft maintenance tracking software
  • Overall knowledge of time compliance items, airworthiness directives and service bulletins
  • Exceptional research, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving and time management skills
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
  • Qualifications We Prefer:

    • Prior experience in a Lead or supervisory role; the ability to hire, mentor and train subordinates
    • Ability to audit maintenance records
    • An Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification with no prior FAA violations
    • Aircraft records database/aircraft maintenance tracking software experience
    • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
    • Ability to type 35 WPM
    • Familiarity with rotable and non-rotable aircraft parts certificates
