Position Overview

M1 is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I - F-16 Flightline APG. The role involves conducting daily aircraft launch and recovery operations, inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of aircraft systems. The technician will interpret technical manuals, perform inspections, and support engineering requests as needed.

Specific Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years as a USAF or sister service fighter aircraft Crew Chief, with at least 1 year as an F-16 Crew Chief within the last 10 years.
• Working knowledge of MIS systems, documentation, and strict adherence to technical data.

Additional Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; mathematics skills desirable.
• Proficiency in English for interpreting technical data and instructions.
• Willingness to deploy for off-station support.
• Ability to perform housekeeping duties, vehicle inspections, and other supportive tasks.
• Physical capability to perform all duties, including extensive physical activity.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and a government driver's license if required.
• Ability to pass color vision tests for controlled movement area access.
• Work environment includes office, hangar, and flightline with physical demands such as climbing and walking.
