AAR is the place of choice to build an inspiring career.For the U.S. Marshals you will monitor aircraft maintenance and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to ensure safety and timely delivery. Perform Pre- Post- and In-Flight inspections, adjustments, and minor repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of aircraft.Day Shift: 0500 - 1400, but may vary due to arrival and departure times. Monday through Friday, with some weekend requirements.Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Predeparture and daily inspections of aircraft.
  • Launch and recovery of USMS aircraft.
  • Pireps Log Book items.
  • Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
  • Perform heavy maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Perform any type of aircraft rigging.
  • Use FAA approved data i.e. IPC, M M, OHM, SRM proficiently.
  • Effectively interact with customer representatives.
  • Must be comfortable exercising the full privilege of A&P license.
  • Inspect aircraft prior to takeoff for defects, such as fuel or oil leaks or malfunctions in electrical, hydraulic, or pressurization systems, according to preflight checklist.
  • May perform repairs upon completion of flight.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.EDUCATION And Or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree GED required.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years related aviation / aircraft experience and/or training.
  • Must have an airframe and powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active Security Clearance a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Constantly: Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions.
  • Frequently: Lifting ≤40 lbs., push/pull
