Position Title: Aircraft Maintenance Manager

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Contract Type: Direct Hire

Job Overview: The Aircraft Maintenance Manager oversees assigned aircraft maintenance lines using production schedules, labor analysis, and budgetary information. This role manages projects related to maintenance, preventative maintenance, or aircraft alterations, ensuring product quality and compliance with applicable air carrier maintenance programs and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure maintenance programs align with company goals.
  • Oversee the Aircraft Maintenance program.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure maintenance complies with federal, manufacturer, customer, and company requirements.
  • Manage maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alterations, including approving and returning aircraft to service.
  • Support engineering priorities to meet aircraft delivery milestones.
  • Maintain clean, hazard-free, and audit-ready work areas, ensuring safety compliance.
  • Ensure on-time aircraft delivery and schedule adjustments.
  • Monitor crew completion dates and labor hours for daily tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience.
  • At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
