B. General

This is a full-time position reporting directly to Maintenance Control, with oversight from the Director of Maintenance (DOM). Responsibilities include managing daily aircraft maintenance tasks related to the company's aircraft and engines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, extensive knowledge of line maintenance, and proficiency in FAA regulations. Excellent communication skills are required, and the candidate must embody the company's values and culture while working in a fast-paced environment.

C. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor maintenance activities and supervise Maintenance Technicians.
  • Develop and manage technician schedules.
  • Coordinate with HR and payroll regarding technician matters.
  • Perform and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with manuals and regulations.
  • Assign tasks to technicians and ensure proper documentation.
  • Promote teamwork among maintenance personnel and flight crews.
  • Maintain workspaces, materials, and tools according to policies and industry standards.
  • Uphold safety and security procedures.
  • Obtain additional qualifications through training as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
D. Qualification Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or higher.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • Successful assessment of line maintenance knowledge under part 121 operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience on commercial aircraft in a part 121 environment, preferably with Boeing 737 classics.
  • Basic avionics knowledge.
  • Ability to travel to airport/aircraft locations with short notice.
  • Ability to operate maintenance vehicles and equipment.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Physical ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Active Passport.
  • Pass a 2-year background check, drug test, and criminal records check.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and online manuals.
  • Ability to multitask and work outdoors in seasonal weather and at heights.
  • Physical strength to handle objects over 70 pounds.
