This role involves using specialized cleaning products and techniques to address different surfaces and components, ensuring no damage to the aircraft's structure or sensitive areas. In this position you must adhere to strict safety and environmental regulations while working efficiently to meet deadlines. Additionally, this position often requires flexibility to work in various weather conditions and the ability to identify and report any potential maintenance issues encountered during the detailing process.WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT DETAILERYou like working as a team, toward a common goalPerform detailed interior and exterior cleaning of aircraftUse specialized cleaning products and equipment to clean and protect aircraft surfacesInspect aircraft for any stains, damage, or wear and report findings to managementDetail aircraft according to airline specifications and standardsClean and sanitize aircraft cabins, including seats, carpets, windows, and lavatoriesYou have very strong customer service skillsYou have a great attention to detailAvailable to work, days, nights, weekends and holidaysYou enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasksLike to build long term relationships with your customersPhysical activity may include:Stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 70 pounds or moreBe able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environmentClose vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)QualificationsMinimum age of 18 years old1 Year of detailed cleaning experienceKnowledge of cleaning tools, supplies and chemicalsAbility to pass a drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
