My client is searching for a skilled Air Export Operations Specialist to join their team in Farmingdale, NY. This role demands someone with a proven track record of managing air exports.

Schedule: Monday Friday

Salary: Up to $75,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire air export process, guaranteeing adherence to all regulations and timelines.
• Efficiently handle air waybill issuance, rating, and consolidations, ensuring accuracy at every step.
• Provide competitive rate quotes and negotiate pricing with vendors, securing the best options for our clients.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients to identify new business opportunities and enhance existing partnerships.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop effective standard operating procedures tailored to client needs.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely document submission and compliance.
• Act as a liaison between vendors, suppliers, forwarders, and agents, ensuring seamless communication and information flow.
• Keep clients informed with timely updates on shipment progress and status.
• Facilitate effective communication with transport companies to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure meticulous documentation management in line with client and company guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in air export operations or freight forwarding.
• In-depth knowledge of air freight regulations and procedures.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
