Aide Transporter - Trinity Health Corporation : Job Details

Receives assignments for specific trips and associated tasks from Manager and/or Dispatchers. Delivers and retrieves transport equipment throughout the hospital, as directed. Participates in cleaning and inspection of wheelchairs and stretchers. Accepts additional assignments related to support functions as is needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors, and hospital staff. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital. What you will need:Required:High School Diploma or GED equivalent. General knowledge of patient transport and age-specific interactions. Ability to read and write information in English regarding trip assignments and to confirm patients identification. Ability to use alpha-numeric pager and telephone. Customer service core competencies for ability to deal directly with patients, their families, and hospital staff.
