DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will receive both formal and hands-on training to care for our veteran residents. After completing an 8-hour online course, 16-hour classroom session, and an 80-hours orientation program, you will be eligible for promotion to a Nurse Aide position. While training, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide non-professional rehabilitative nursing care and treatment. These responsibilities will include distributing meals, transporting residents, and engaging in social activities. You will also be responsible for changing linens, cleaning medical equipment, and responding to requests for snacks and water. Additionally, you will contribute to residents' Plans of Care by attending interdisciplinary team meetings.
