Job Description

We have 1 position available in the US, hiring at Lead Consultant or Sr. Consultant level depending on qualifications and interview evaluation.

The AI Platform Engineer is a full-stack engineer responsible for building and operating cloud application development and hosting platforms for Allstate. This role involves owning, developing, implementing, and operating Allstate's Cloud platforms.

With expertise in GenAI Cloud Platforms, you will serve as a technical solutions advisor within our AI solutions team, collaborating with product teams to define AI strategies and prioritize use cases that deliver business value through AWS and Azure AI Services. You will balance operational tasks to maintain the platform with engineering new solutions to automate build and operational processes. You will work alongside other engineers, advocating for paired programming, test-driven development, infrastructure engineering, and continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in GenAI on Azure and AWS cloud platforms to support and enhance client relationships, including delivering product briefings, creating demos, executing proof-of-concept projects, and collaborating with product management to prioritize solutions that promote adoption of Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Services, OpenAI, Agentic AI, AWS Bedrock, and AWS Sagemaker.
• Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure using best practices on Azure/AWS AI.
• Advise clients on incorporating AI accelerators into their cloud strategies, including migration paths, integration strategies, and architecture.
• Utilize understanding of product, design, and business priorities to solve complex, high-impact problems.
• Provide thought leadership and innovative technical solutions across teams.
• Engage with consumers and collaborate with account and partner teams to identify opportunities, address objections, and resolve blockers.
• Promote engineering best practices, including setting up frameworks with Terraform and automation.
• Maintain and improve existing Terraform codebases.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Present ideas and solutions effectively.

Key Qualifications

• Preferred 4-year Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years of experience in Cloud application development preferred.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and AI open-source ecosystems.
• Experience with Azure Application and AI services.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock preferred.
• Knowledge of large language model (LLM) and foundational model APIs.
• Experience in Terraform development.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $104,000.00 - $187,625.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
