Apple's WW Channel Strategy & Operations (CSO) organization focuses on developing and deploying worldwide sales programs and best practices to deliver an extraordinary customer experience in the channel and drive Apple Channel sales. With deep functional expertise in digital, physical, and people enablement spaces, our WW CSO team closely collaborates with many cross-functional groups at world-wide and regional levels. We are seeking a dedicated AI NLP engineer who has experience with creating customer service or training solutions to join our intelligent CX and selling solutions team. In this position, you will build and implement advanced natural language processing techniques to create assisted sales and training solutions. You will leverage your solid understanding of NLP techniques, including machine learning, text classification, and sentiment analysis.

• 5+ years building NLP/AI software professionally and successfully releasing to customers
• Experience with data-driven digital transformation projects using AI/ML/NLP technology
• Industry and academic experience working on a range of AI problems
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art NLP algorithms and AI models
• Experience with NLP techniques such as entity extraction, dependency parsing, co-reference resolution, topic modeling, language modeling, text classification, transformer networks, and semantic extraction techniques
• Experience building and deploying AI models into a production cloud environment (AWS)
• Strong understanding of Python, and related machine learning tools (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, spaCy, Keras)
• Ability to share results with a non-technical audience and advancing multiple projects at once on a tight schedule
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication, engagement and interpersonal skills along with validated skills in building great design

In this role, you will focus on the following key areas:

- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operations Research or related field; or

- Ph.D. in Math, Engineering, Economics, or hard science with data science fellowship; or

- M.S. in related field with 3+ years experience applying machine learning engineer to real business problems

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
