AI Engineer/Software Engineer - Compunnel : Job Details

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer / Software Engineer to join our team in developing an agentic backend using Google ADK. This role will be responsible for API development, backend integration, cloud deployment, and system performance monitoring. The engineer will work closely with pre-defined agents and tools to ensure seamless system functionality in a high-impact, AI-driven web application environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the agentic backend utilizing Google ADK.
• Build robust APIs for communication between the web application and backend systems.
• Monitor and analyze system performance; implement optimizations as needed.
• Deploy backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using CloudRun.
• Work with pre-defined agents and tasks in line with the project's design framework.
• Utilize existing tools to support efficient and scalable development.

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Proven experience in developing AI-powered web applications.
• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., Google ADK, Crew.ai).
• Familiarity with backend development best practices and API design.
• Experience deploying services to GCP, specifically CloudRun.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in production-level cloud deployment and containerization.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Google Cloud certification (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer) is a plus.
