Job Description :
- Strong understanding of plant growth, agricultural practices, soil fertility, vegetable production, and/or plant genetics (particularly in vegetables).
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, or Horticulture (required).
- Master's degree or post-BS certification in Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, or Agricultural Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an agricultural setting, with a focus on vegetable production (preferably root crops such as sweet potatoes, carrots, or similar).
- Familiarity with APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) regulations, including import approvals, permits, and phytosanitary requirements (a plus).
