Join our exceptional team today and help shape the future of energy!Position Specific DescriptionThis position plays a critical role driving and fostering the agile mindset and practices within the IT Technology Solutions & Operations (TSO) organization supporting project delivery for the network services portfolio. Position will be responsible for leading and executing the agile delivery of high-quality infrastructure related technology solutions within schedule and budget. Position is expected to have a deep understanding of project management principles, values, and frameworks, and the ability to adapt them to different project and organizational contexts. Technical understanding of infrastructure networking services and technologies is critical for project delivery.Specific Job Functions:Lead and successfully deliver products primarily focused on infrastructure and telecommunications/ network related technology solutions.Manage budgets, including forecasting, tracking spending, and understanding the levers to ensure projects stay aligned to financial metrics.Monitor and track team progress and performance metrics, providing timely feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary. This includes implementing and using standard processes and dashboards (such as JIRA) to build a common view of work.Manage vendors, or third-party partners related to product delivery, as needed.Understand and support IT/ TSO operating model including product delivery, business strategy, stakeholders, goals, and services.Promote a culture of learning and innovation within the teams, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of new tools and techniques.Collaborate with other agile leaders, scrum masters, project managers, and stakeholders to drive organizational agility and promote best practices across teams and departments.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesReports on standardized program-level metrics, and understands, tracks, and operates within the program budgetPromotes collaboration and transparency building trusting relationships between business, project delivery, and other entities within the organizationFacilitates periodic synchronization meetings across several different onsite and distributed delivery teamsTracks, promotes, and publishes completed program features and program and team objectives Prepares program and release backlogs, as well as team and program objectivesManages risk and dependencies, communicates, and escalates impediments to facilitate transparency, and reduces bottlenecksEmbraces a continuous improvement mindset, and drives the use of agile engineering best practices and innovationPlays an instrumental role in the organization's agile transformation, acts as a change agent, and shows strong leadership skills with a positive and collaborative attitudePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technology field (or equivalent practical experience)Extensive experience working in technology/ software development, with a focus on Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or LeanStrong leadership and coaching abilities, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspireExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersAbility to identify and resolve conflicts and facilitate decision-making in a collaborative and consensus-driven mannerPassion for learning and continuous improvement, with a growth mindset and a willingness to explore new approaches and technologiesProject management (PMP) or agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)Job OverviewThis position guides teams in the execution of agile initiatives to deliver customer value.
