Summary of Position: The Process Technology Leader - AVO is within the corporate structure having visibility across all production sites of AANA. Within this structure, you will lead a team of Engineers & Technical Specialists within your technology area to provide both new & standardized manufacturing process solutions to meet the evolving cost, capability, and capacity demands of the business. In this role, you will closely interface with other internal functional areas, other regions, and equipment / tooling sources. You will remain up to date with industry trends through benchmarking, expositions, etc. to achieve the most effective solutions while improving cross-functional processes. Location: Bellefontaine OH, Elizabethtown KY, or Farmington Hills MI Travel: 20% - 40%, primarily within the North American region.
Responsibilities: - You will lead a team to develop, validate, and implement strategies for new manufacturing processes to secure machine KPI improvement for reduced cost, to introduce new manufacturing process capability, and to ensure sufficient process capacity to manage the businesses identified in the mid-term plan.
- Implementation of the strategies includes the confirmation of process KPI's and investments for new business RFQ's to Finance, the confirmation of manufacturing feasibility to the project team, the monitoring of each site engineering development activity to ensure standards compliance, and the maintenance / training of standard recipes for your technology area.
- You will communicate a clear and compelling image of how your team is connected to the business goals of the division.

- You will empower your team members to make decisions at the lowest possible level with accountability.
Qualifications: - BS in Engineering or related technical field.
- 7 or more years of engineering experience with 3 or more years in a supervisory role preferably in the automotive space.
- Expertise industrializing chemical bonding and soldering processes considering manual through fully automated hardware and software solutions such as robotics, PLC's, HMI's, non-contact inspection, & PID closed-loop process control.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, project management principles, the interpretation of technical drawings, and industrial/safety standards.
