Ag Construction Project Manager - Pipestone : Job Details

OBJECTIVE:Assist with project oversight/inspections and print and plan review, coordination of maintenance projects as needed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned)

• Assist with design of new projects from initial rough drawings tofinalized drawings, project specifications, request of bids from contractors, review bids for accuracy and completeness.
• Occasionally design project layout and acquire needed materials to complete specified project.
• Job site inspections to ensure project specifications are being followed and Pipestone quality standards are being met.
• Oversight of various maintenance repair projects as assigned.
• Assist as needed in the construction and maintenance areas.

Supervisory Duties:Carries out supervisory responsibilities within the Repairs & Maintenance department in accordance with all policies and applicable laws.POSITION SPECIFICATIONSEducation: BS Degree with an agricultural or construction management focus preferred.Experience: 3 - 4 years of construction/maintenance experience or post-secondary education/training in these fields may be substituted for BS degree, preferred.Work Environment:Agricultural swine environment in rural areaNoise levels that require hearing protection in some areasPhysical Requirements: Standing, walking and ability to be on feet 8 to 10 hours per dayFrequent bending, reaching, squatting and kneelingFrequent use of one or both hands/arms to grasp or pullFrequent lifting of objects weighing 3-20 poundsOccasional bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds or requiring up to 100 pounds of force to move with the assistance of another person as neededAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to attend and participate in meetings of various lengthsAdditional Requirements:Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to get to workSome travel requiredMust follow PIPESTONE's core values at all timesCompensation, Pay & Benefits:$70,000-$95,000 base salary, depending on experienceBenefit Package includes Paid Single Health Insurance, Family Health Coverage AvailableDental/Vision/Life/Disability InsuranceRetirement PlanHolidays & Paid Time Off
