We are looking to hire five part-time individuals to work from 2:45pm to 5:20pm every Monday, September - May, at our campus in the Clifton neighborhood of Cincinnati.About Romero Academies.Romero Academies is a Catholic school network located in Cincinnati, Ohio operated by Seton Education Partners. We are looking for highly dedicated educators who bring an unwavering commitment to helping every scholar achieve their God-given potential.The primary responsibilities of an Afterschool Program Monitor teacher include:

  • Monitoring a group of 12-18 students while supporting homework completion, quiet play, and literacy tutoring.
  • Facilitate a calm and effective dismissal process, where each child is released to the correct adult
  • Creating and maintaining a learning environment where every scholar feels safe, loved, and inspired to learn and grow
  • Supporting a school culture focused on faith, academic achievement, and character development
  • Develop meaningful relationships with students and parents that drive students to love learning and make exceptional academic gains
Qualifications And Desired CharacteristicsCandidates for the position must possess the following personal characteristics:

  • A strong belief that all children can achieve both moral and academic excellence

  • Pass both a BCI and FBI background check (to be completed during hiring process)
The ideal candidate will bring experience, skills, and beliefs in the following areas:
  • At minimum a high school diploma, and a desire to help students grow in faith, virtue, and intellect is required
  • A passion for being part of a team-oriented, mission-driven school culture
  • The ability to be flexible in a fast-paced school environment that is responsive to students' needs
