Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Aftermarket Parts Expeditor to join a leading engineering and construction manufacturing team in Santa Ana, CA. This is a client-facing role responsible for ensuring the timely processing, tracking, and delivery of aftermarket spare parts. The position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and manage aftermarket spare part orders from entry through delivery.
- Ensure all processes related to orders—including purchase orders, work orders, shipment documentation, and export compliance—are completed accurately and on time.
- Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams to provide updates, tracking, and estimated delivery timelines.
- Respond promptly to customer issues, complaints, or delays to ensure resolution and maintain high service standards.
- Research, recommend, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and timeliness of spare part deliveries.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve competing priorities and logistical challenges.
- Perform other duties as required to support aftermarket operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or manufacturing coursework preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in production, aftermarket, or repair center roles.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong sense of accountability with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- General technical knowledge with the ability to understand manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, collaborate effectively with others, and uphold company policies, ethics, and safety requirements.
