After School Program Aide - The Salvation Army in the Midwest : Job Details

Assist in overall responsibilities for the after-school program through tutoring and mentoring youth, grades K-8. Essential Responsibilities: Tutoring youth in core academic subjects, completion of daily schoolwork and after-school program lessons Leading and/or coordinating game time activities for youth Assisting in other after-school activities Creating a positive environment that is conducive to learning Assist with meal preparation for after-school youth attendees Leading in planning and/or coordinating age-appropriate recreational activities for both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting. Run unpaid vendor list after last check run for each month. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Education/ Experience: High School diploma / GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities Some college in a related field preferred 1 years experience working with youth in a tutoring type of capacity, prefe...Aide, Program, School, Education
