Position Expectations: - Care to begin week of September 2, 2025, and end week of May 25, 2025
- Care to begin planning and preparing for the program upon hire
- Will work with the school Coordinator to establish goals and implementation strategy
- Will be required to work with the school Coordinator to set up logistics. After school tutoring program will be housed in its home school
- The focus of instruction is Reading and Math skills, based on iReady assessment results
- Identify the number of students who will be invited to the program
- Recruit students to participate
- Collect data for student attendance and Participation -Measure the success of each student's growth and achievement of math and/or reading skills
- Groups of 10 students to 1 adult with explicit instruction in specific skill areas
- After school to 6 pm
- Create lesson plans with learning targets and success criteria
- Utilize formative assessments to monitor student progress
- Complete the monthly timesheet for the grant, as well as enter time into the Frontline program for payroll
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION - Teacher or paraprofessional currently employed in Weld Re-8.
- Must have approval of school administrator or an Effective rating in RANDA
- Uses data to promote the educational development of each student
- Uses research based best first instructional practices
- Experience in supporting a comprehensive student discipline program; prefer experience with PBIS
- Demonstrated ability and commitment in supporting and promoting a positive school climate.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments with the ability to facilitate data driven instruction.
- Computer and technology skills required. Familiarity with iReady data and reports.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Bilingual/Biliterate skills Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, but not required.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
