Aerospace Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer - PPG : Job Details

Create and manage technical documentation, including CAD models & drawings, specifications, and test reports. Conduct functional & dimensional testing to verify plastic packaging components and equipment comply with design and performance specifications. Collaborate with subcontractors both domestically and internally to resolve manufacturing issues and improve production efficiency. Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for packaging defects or equipment failures. Work cross-functionally with Quality, R&D, and Operations teams to develop new products or improve legacy product designs. Support training on PPG's line of plastic packaging and operation of mixing & dispensing equipment. Qualifications. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or related field 3 years of experience in mechanical design, packaging engineering, or manufacturing processes.
