Job Description

ProSidian is seeking a Aeronautics/Astronautics Keynote/Guest Speaker for our Speakers Bureau, on a contingent, exempt 1099 contract basis. The position is generally located across the CONUS—Texas (Remote with Travel or Virtual)—supporting an education-centered state organization focused on leadership, instruction, training, and transparent procurement practices.

We are looking for candidates with relevant education and academia sector experience, including functional and technical expertise, to support professional engagement with clients such as the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and Region One Education Service Center (ESC1). The role may be on a contract contingent or W-2 basis, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time W-2 position.

Job Overview

The role involves delivering expert-led keynote and guest speaking engagements in the Education and Academia Sector, focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients across Texas and the South Central Region. Our Speakers Bureau provides impactful communication at conferences, forums, and community events, engaging audiences with industry insights in aeronautics and astronautics—fields vital to aviation, space exploration, defense, and global communications.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver impactful, purpose-driven speeches that engage and inspire diverse audiences on aeronautics and astronautics topics.
  • Design and customize presentations, engage in Q&A, and represent core themes aligned with the subject matter.
  • Support virtual and in-person events, contributing to the knowledge base and mentoring junior speakers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree minimum; advanced degree preferred.
  • Recognized expertise in aeronautics/astronautics with excellent communication skills and proven engagement outcomes.
  • 5–10 years of relevant speaking or industry experience.

Public speaking, storytelling, audience engagement, adaptability, emotional intelligence, strategic communication, cultural competence.

Additional Requirements

  • Availability for both virtual and in-person events with flexible scheduling.
  • Proficiency with business tools including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
