Join Lockheed Martin Space's Flight Sciences team supporting the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program (and more!) as an Aero/Hydro Engineer. The CPS system will operate at hypersonic velocities. Building such a system involves overcoming complex physics and engineering challenges.

As an Aero/Hydro Engineer, you will integrate hypersonic, submarine-launched missile technology into a naval weapon system on an accelerated schedule to deliver a hypersonic operational prototype to the Warfighter. The CPS system will fly at several times the speed of sound, providing rapid response capabilities for various threat scenarios. If this excites you, join our team supporting the CPS Program.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Performing aerodynamics analyses related to missile systems, with emphasis on hypersonics and hydrodynamics.
• Creating technical memos.
• Providing input to data packages for peer and customer reviews.
• Presenting analysis results to internal teams, customer representatives, and Program Office personnel during technical exchange meetings.

To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Need

• 9+ years of professional experience; 7+ years with a Master's degree.
• While no clearance is needed to start, you must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required.
