Advanced Software Engineer - Scientific Games : Job Details

Manages and leads the delivery of new product features, implementations, integrations to SGI and third parties, maintenance, and other technical projects.

Works closely with internal and external customers to ensure applications meet business needs and SLAs.

Coordinates the development and architectural roadmaps aligned with the company's vision.

Ensures quality delivery with well-commented code, adhering to technical and product standards.

Helps refine team standards for development and testing activities.

Adheres to security standards and utilizes knowledge of software testing.

Maintains documentation for audits and assists in responses to RFPs, including technical and cost details.

Stays updated on new programming methods and technologies.

Provides guidance and mentoring to team members and champions process improvements.

Ensures team standards are met and supports the Software Development Manager as a technical leader.

Conducts interviews for new staff.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related fields, and 8 years of progressive software engineering experience, with expertise in SQL Server, cloud platforms, software design, and customer interaction.

Education and Experience

• 8 years of software engineering experience.

Includes sitting, standing, walking, using hands, operating a computer, and visual acuity.

Work Conditions
