Looking for a lifetime career? Apply today!Job Description Analyzes, implements, monitors, and oversees all aspects of technical training, plant operations and refueling. Responsible for the proper daily operations of the plant and support equipment, ensuring proper maintenance of plant and support equipment, and training of naval and civilian personnel on both theoretical and operational aspects of nuclear plant operations utilizing reactors and state-of-the-art simulators or directs personnel during refueling operations as applicable. Ensures safe operation by providing on-shift engineering and accident assessment expertise and advisory technical support in the areas of thermal hydraulics, reactor engineering and plant analysis. Conducts shutdown and start-up activities and in the event of an emergency, implements established emergency procedures.
