We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for full-time positions offering competitive salaries ranging from $145,197.00 to $152,236.50 per year, and you could also be eligible for a $3,500 retention bonus.

As a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, you will manage diverse patient panels in busy Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in Brooklyn and surrounding areas. You will collaborate closely with primary care physicians and specialty providers to deliver high-quality primary and preventive care for patients of all ages, making a genuine difference in underserved communities.

We require a strong commitment to community health, and bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus. Locations available include Bedford Avenue, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, along with one evening per week and one Saturday per month, plus rotating phone call coverage.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in patient care and assessment
  • Experience with EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner
  • Skilled in catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding
  • Knowledge in physiology and critical care
  • Familiarity with gastroenterology and assisted living environments
  • Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Perform necessary procedures, including catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding.
  • Utilize EHR systems to document patient information effectively.
  • Administer basic life support and manage critical care situations skillfully.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families in both English and Spanish to enhance understanding and support.
