This role involves being our primary representative and a self-motivated resource in our rapidly expanding connected infrastructure division. Our team, with a nationwide presence in Master Systems Integration across the federal environment, aims to build and expand an industrial/metering controls department. This position will help lead innovative solutions as part of our larger MSI team architecture. Specific responsibilities include:Conduct site visits and assessments at client facilities to understand energy infrastructure and loads, including locating and classifying utility meters (electric, gas, water, steam).Participate in planning, on-site logistics, and post-survey reporting with project team members.Travel within a defined region to multiple project sites, maintaining communication with stakeholders.Review facility plans, drawings, asset inventories, and technical specifications to assess the operating status of energy meters.Provide recommendations for meter repairs, replacements, and installation of new meters or submeters based on client needs and project team suggestions.Required Experience & SkillsExperience with building design and management of critical building systems.Experience conducting site visits and assessments at client facilities.Experience assessing energy infrastructure, including metering systems (age, quality, vulnerability).Experience collaborating with customers, contractors, inspectors, and service providers.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to obtain a basic civilian security clearance.5+ years of related experience.Preferred Experience & SkillsExperience with energy audits or facility assessments.Knowledge of environmental, sustainability, and energy regulations and standards.Experience working with diverse project types and technologies.Experience with federal agencies like EPA, GSA, or DoD.Strong organizational, scheduling, and facilitation skills for technical meetings.Effective team and independent work skills.Excellent communication skills.Strong problem-solving and project management skills.EducationHigh School Diploma (required).Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).*Our positions may require a background screening and government clearance.*Telework arrangements are subject to change based on customer requirements.Additional InformationBenefits include:Medical & RxDentalVisionFlexible Spending Accounts401(k) Retirement PlanLife Insurance/AD&DLong & Short Term DisabilityPaid Time OffHoliday PayAll positions require a background check.
