This role involves being our primary representative and a self-motivated resource in our rapidly expanding connected infrastructure division. Our team, which has a nationwide presence in Master Systems Integration across the federal environment, is looking to build and expand an industrial/metering controls department. The position will help lead innovative solutions as part of our larger MSI team architecture. Key responsibilities include:Conducting site visits and assessments at client facilities to understand energy infrastructure and loads, including locating and classifying utility meters (electric, gas, water, steam).Participating in planning, logistics, and reporting functions with project team members.Traveling to multiple project sites within a region and maintaining communication with stakeholders.Reviewing facility plans, asset inventories, and technical specifications to assess the operating status of energy meters.Providing recommendations for meter repairs, replacements, and suitable locations for new meters or submeters.Required Experience & SkillsExperience with building design and management of critical building systems.Experience with site visits and assessments at client facilities.Experience assessing energy infrastructure, including metering system conditions.Experience collaborating with customers, contractors, inspectors, and service providers.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to obtain a basic civilian security clearance.5+ years of relevant experience.Preferred Experience & SkillsExperience with energy audits or facility assessments.Knowledge of environmental, sustainability, and energy regulations.Experience with diverse project types and technologies.Experience working with federal agencies (EPA, GSA, DoD).Ability to organize and facilitate technical meetings.Effective team and independent work skills.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.EducationHigh School Diploma (required).Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).*Our positions may require a background screening and clearance from the government.*Telework arrangements are subject to change based on customer requirements.Additional BenefitsEligible employees enjoy:Medical & RxDentalVisionFlexible Spending Accounts401(k) Retirement PlanLife Insurance/AD&DDisability InsurancePaid Time OffHoliday PayPost-offer, a background check is required.
